"Release" 10x10, Oil on Canvas Just finished this little study after a few days of preparing for a larger triptych. I have three 36x36 pieces laying across my studio right now with the drawings on them ready to go. I wanted to figure out the coloring first and thought doing a quick study would give me a better feel for how it would look. The studio is a mess and I can't move but I'm excited at the progress!

"Rock Study" 8x10 inch Oil on canvas This is an art piece that I did in a workshop a couple of years ago given by Chuck Rawles.  In the workshop, we used his photographs.  The first two days he did a demo in the morning, and the afternoon we would do a painting.  The whole class said that they wish they could speed up their paintings.  So he said he could make that happen.   Now the clock is ticking,  he did allow us to mix all the paints we would be using first before he would start the timer.  We were given  30 minutes to complete a painting.  So now we are sweating.  He would say, "you have 15 minutes", then would come a 5 minute warning, then 1 minute.  Time is up!!!  Yeah, I did it.  He said I did better when I was being timed.   Contact information is below.
