Artists Of Texas Contemporary Paintings and Art

The 2014 roller coaster is almost at the bottom of the hill, ready to exit. It's been busy, too busy at times. I did not take as much studio time as I would have liked, and it shows in the number of really good paintings from my easel. But I am very proud of the work that I've done as president of the Pastel Society of Southeast Texas . Great membership numbers and growth in programs and activities. 2015 shapes up even better. Here's my video to celebrate the year end and the good paintings that did escape my easel. Happy New Year, Success, Good Health, and Lots of Excellent Paintings. "Miniature of Shelby" 5x7 inch Pastel on Sennelier paper Private Collection This is my grand-daughter Shelby when she was probably around 4yrs. old.   My goal was to keep my strokes lose.  I knew this painting wasn't going to be for sale so  I could just take my time, and have fun with it.  I think I accomplished my goal.  Do you have a snapshot of your child or grandchild that you would like me to paint?     Shelby's birthday is Saturday, so be sure to look for a more up to date painting of her on this website. My prices are very reasonable.  Contact me at the sites below.
