Artists Of Texas Contemporary Paintings and Art

"Spring Light" 5x7, Oil on Panel     Had a chance this past weekend to Plein Air paint. It was such a lovely day with the light coming through the new green leaves.   I used Oil Primed Panels and have to say that they are more fluid and pleasurable to work on.

I painted this plein air a couple of days ago. It was a beautiful November day and I liked how the deep darks of the trees contrasted with the lighter field in front of the tree line. I don't usually post my paintings with frames, but I thought this frame looked great on this painting. This is 8"x10" oil on canvas. It is $200 unframed or $260 framed. Shipping is $10 unframed or $20 framed, including insurance. Click on the image for a close-up. Contact me at abreck@swbell.net if you're interested in purchasing this painting.
