Art Therapy Post 9 This is Floyd. Floyd has a girlfriend that lives across the street. Her name is Daisy and she is a stunning Australian Shepherd. I’d call them star-crossed lovers separated by fences and the COVID stay-at-home order, but in reality, she won’t give him the time of day. He sits starry eyed at the front of our fence just hoping to catch a glimpse of her. Before we knew the new neighbors had an Aussie and Aussie puppy, Daisy ran up to my husband when he arrived home from work and lay down at his feet. It was cold, rainy and she didn’t have a collar, so naturally we brought her inside. At the time, Floyd had wanted nothing to do with our new adoptee puppy, Ziggy, and avoided him like the plague to come, extreme social distancing, but Daisy was different. It was true love at least from his perspective. Daisy was utterly indifferent to Floyd's gentle nudges, invitations to bound around the yard or a walk under the moonlight. She...
