On my easel... Illinois Pastoral Scene this was a quick under-painting on a 18" x18" canvas. For some reason I had a hard time painting yesterday...I want to start with the palette knife today and get some thick layers of paint on. My reference photo that I was using was from a trip to Illinois last November. A drive through the countryside landed us on an Amish farm. I thought these herefords were interesting, because of the markings and usually you don't see cattle lying in the pasture. Here is my photo: Thanks for viewing...more to come tomorrow. Today's post is Painting #24 for the 30 Paintings/30 Days Challenge. Contact me if you have any questions about my art. KMW
