Artists Of Texas Contemporary Paintings and Art

The Gathering 18" x 24" Oil on RayMar Cotton Panel Contemporary Palette Knife Painting Floral Still Life Contact  Pam Massar at Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, Texas  for purchasing information.  This was a demonstration from last week's reception at the gallery.  Here was my set-up with the floral arrangement.  For some reason the white drop cloth decided to fall when I took this pic. I thought that since we were gathered for a day of art demos and art reception, that I would name this painting "The Gathering".  I am sure that Pam will frame it in a lovely gold or silver frame.  Feel free to contact  ME  with any comments or questions concerning this painting.  Have a great day.... Still Life Study in Light 12" x 9" oil on linen I promise this will be the final blog about my first venture into demonstrating in front of a live audience. Since my last two blog posts discussed the upcoming event, you might have guessed I was a little apprehensive about it. But once I started painting, the nervousness just melted away. I only had about an hour to work, but the Weatherford Art Association was a great crowd and it was fun discussing my process as the painting unfolded. Here is the painting from that night. I love to share my art and inspiration. Click  HERE  to sign up for my email newsletter and receive a free gift of postcards. Follow me on Facebook.
