Artists Of Texas Contemporary Paintings and Art

Waiting Game by Leada Wood© www.leadawood.com/blog 15x22 Transparent watercolor and is available. Doesn't it seem like we spend a lot of time waiting? Waiting in line... waiting our turn... waiting on people... waiting for our ship to come in...waiting. Funny, wait is a verb yet it means to remain inactive or in a state of repose, as until something expected happens. To be available or in readiness  to postpone or delay something, to look forward to eagerly, a period of waiting, pause, interval or delay. Language is a strange thing. I hope whatever you are waiting for is worth the wait!

RANCH DRESSIN' BY LEADA WOOD http://www.leadawood.com/ www.leadawood/blog I was so excited and honored today when I opened our weekly newspaper and the New Commers Guide fell out and my painting made the cover! The painting was a 22x28 watercolor a client had commissioned for her husband for their 25th anniversary. She brought all the items to my studio and I sat up a still life and painted from it. You just never know what the day will bring! Art is personal and makes a wonderful gift, as well as an heirloom. I love doing commissions and would be delighted to do one for you!
