Quince Impression 8x10 oil on canvas This started as a plein air painting from the Ft Worth Botanical Gardens in late winter. I dug it out and decided to slapped more paint on it. I added more texture with the palette knife. I'm always surprised at the shapes and color you can build up with the knife. I think I will stop for now and enjoy it's soft colors and lovely design.
