Traveling Three 11 x 14  Oil on Canvas SOLD © Laurie Justus Pace Graphics One Design 2011 Contact Laurie www.ellepace.com www.lauriepace.blogspot.com Artists of Texas Contemporary Fine Art International This was painted exactly a year ago today.  My dearest and oldest friend was shot to death in Shreveport LA by one of her students.  Today was the first day of the trial of the 17 year old that shot her. This is a day I will never forget....and my prayers are with my friend's family, her husband, her mother and her daughters. This painting holds a dear place in my heart almost like the tears that fell as I finished it.  We are indeed on a journey in our lifetime and it is what we do for others that matters and makes a difference. Spread the light and the energy.

My Blog My Website   Giclees on Canvas, Prints and Cards Mirada Gallery sold one of my larger pieces last week, Desert Sun .     I was so excited to learn more about the new owner as I did a collector book for her of this painting. She is a gifted poet and I included some of her poetry in her book on the painting. This is the third painting this year they have sold of my work at Mirada. It stayed here in the states. The first one lives in Canada and the second one flew to Australia.  I cannot thank Gallery Manager Steve enough for his constant vigilance and work with me for joint marketing ...
