Everlast Irises by Nancy Medina 16X20 Oil on Linen Board My Daily Painters Gallery Nancy Medina Web Site Nancy Medina Art Blog Everlast Irises is drying on the easel today, while my best friend is in hospital to deliver a baby boy. This fellow will be the little brother to my god-daughter, Isabel, so he feels like a blessed addition to my own family. These are the miracles that buoy us through the sad times, the miracles and celebrations of the heart that give us strength. Godspeed and a gentle landing to life's newest soul.

Shades of Crimson by Sheri Jones 8 x 10 oil on canvas I painted this in the garden of a home in Waxahachie with a group from the Outdoor Painter's Society. The irises were the star of the garden. The Outdoor Painter's society is coming to my hometown May 14th and 15th. We will be painting in the streets of downtown Granbury and surrounding countryside. There are plenty of painting opportunities for the plein air artist. Granbury is a growing community, but still has the old town charm. It should be a great time.
