Chalk Mountain by Sheri Jones 16 x12 oil on Raymar canvas panel. This was inspired from a visit to a beautiful home and garden in Glen Rose, Texas. This garden was on a high vista with great distant views. I painted this with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint. The Glen Rose and Granbury Master Gardener's are hosting a conference in Granbury, April 2011. There will be an art show during this time at The Plaza in Granbury. Photographers and Artist are visiting participating Gardener's and will showcase their results.I have painted in 4 gardens so far and hope I make to all of them. This painting is available for purchase. $150.00 Sheri@sheriart.net sheriart.net sheriart.blogspot.com
