Star Car 12x9 oil on canvas I painted this dreaming of celebrating the 4th of July holiday. Independence, freedom and living in this great county are things I am grateful for. Blue International Acrylic  Table Art on canvas This is a place mat I painted for my husband. I have used hand painted place mats for years and wanted something new. I asked my husband what he would like and he quickly answered TRUCKS.  I wanted the background to be nice and loose and filled with color. It was a fun exercise in combing the realistic look of the truck against an abstract background. Sheri@sheriart.net www.sheriart.net www.sheriart.blogspot.com www.cfai.co/sherijones/

Montepulciano Window 11x14 oil on canvas We enjoyed a free afternoon in Montepulciano on a recent trip to Tuscany with  Niki Gulley  and Scott Williams  of Artreks. It was a time of exploration and discovery. It was fun to find scenes like this in the hills of Montepulciano. This was painted with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint. This is available for purchase $300.00 Sheri@sheriart.net www.sheriart.net www.sheriart.blogspot.com www.cfai.co/sherijones

Fall Hay Harvest  8x10 oil on canvas I painted this out on Neri Road in Hood County this morning. I had time to kill after voting and before a doctor's appointment. It was still early and in the low fifties. The sun was out warming things up quickly. It was a great way to start my day.  I hope you got out and voted and exercised your rights to voice your opinion. May the best man win! This is available for purchase.$250.00 Sheri@sheriart.net www.sheriart.net www.sheriart.blogspot.com www.cfai.co/sherijones/

The Sanctuary of San Biagio 10x8 oil on raymar canvas panel Sold I painted this on the vista overlooking The Sanctuary of San Biagio in Montepulciano, Italy. This chapel was constructed between 1518 and 1545 by local craftsman. It is a work of art and was a joy to paint. We had great weather on this particular day with temperatures in the 80s. It was a great spot picked out by Niki Gulley during her workshop.  Sheri@sheriart.net www.sheriart.net www.sheriart.blospot.com www.cfai.co/sherijones

Tuscan Farmhouse  8x10 oil on Raymar canvas panel I painted this on the first day of  Niki Gulley 's workshop in Tuscany. She and her husband lead us on an incredible 8 day tour of the Tuscan area of Italy.  We painted at a fantastic villa they arranged for us to stay at. The views from this hillside villa were impressive. This is available for purchase. $200.00 Sheri@sheriart.net www.sheriart.net www.sheriart.blogspot.com www.cfai.co/sherijones

56 T-Bird by Sheri Jones 16x20 oil on canvas I found this jewel in Ft. Worth, just west of downtown. It was on one of the side streets in the musuem district and was calling my name. This is available for purchase. $300.00 Sheri@sheriart.net http://www.sheriart.net/ http://www.sheriart.blogspot.com/
