Fall Color Sketch  9x12 oil on canvas I painted this on location in the Lake Baptist Church parking lot. It has great views and outstanding color this time of the year. We are fortunate to have perfect plein air painting weather this late in the year.  I wanted to show how bright red the sumac bushes appeared in the light of the afternoon sun.  This is available for purchase  $250.00 Sheri@sheriart.net www.sheriart.net www.sheriart.blogspot.com www.cfai.co/sherijones/

Indian Blanket 10x8 oil on canvas   The indian blanket flowers are blooming right now and I know they wont be out much longer. There are miles and miles of them off the highway and a beautiful site. I've been wanting to paint them all week.  This is in my neighbor hood and not far from home.  It was great to be on location painting outside.  This is available for purchase. $200.00 Sheri@sheriart.net www.sheriart.net www.sheriart.blogspot.com www.cfai.co/sherijones

Waiting by Sheri Jones 10x8 oil on canvas I created this for the  Daily Paint Works  "the seated figure challenge".  The challenges are a great way for me to get out of my comfort zone and create something very different from my norm. This gentleman was in a doctor's office waiting patiently for his turn. I loved the way he was dressed in his overalls and fishing hat. This is available for purchase $200. Fall Bouquet by Sheri Jones 16x12 oil on canvas I set this still life up to paint in the studio. It was too cool and cloudy to paint outside. I loved playing with the fall colors of the flowers and the small pumpkins. Happy Thanksgiving! This is available for purchase. $175.00 Sheri@sheriart.net http://www.sheriart.new/ http://www.sheriart.blogspot.com/

Massey by Sheri Jones 11x14 oil on canvas This was painted at Lake Granbury's Hunter Park on Saturday. This was the second painting I did that day. When I first drove up I couldn't see this tractor through the fog. By the time I got to painting it the sun was just right. It was a challenge, but a lot of fun to paint. This is available for purchase. $175.00 Sheri@sheriart.net http://www.sheriart.net/ http://www.sheriart.blogspot.com/
