"Taking It Easy" 20x24 inch Oil on Canvas Sold I am from in and around Lawton, Oklahoma. This art piece was inspired from a small town called Medicine Park. The town of Medicine Park is Oklahoma's only cobblestone resort community founded in 1907 on the banks of Medicine Creek. It is next to the Wichita Wild Life Refuse. It was a lively town back in the twenty's, but most of the people left, and it turned into a place of disrepair. It has come back to life again. Now there are tour buses, cobblestone cabins, and good places to eat. You can walk along on a sidewalk down by the water. On one of my visits back home I knew I have to paint this! There are so many things to paint there, it is hard to decide. Hope you enjoy viewing my art. Please go to my blogsite for more art pieces. Website: http://joaneure-artist.blogspot.com Facebook: ...
