Gay Feathers in Bloom 9x12 oil on canvas I was delighted to find the field of wild flowers at High Hope Ranch in Glen Rose.  After touring the ranch, I quickly got to work and painted this colorful landscape.  The temperatures were perfect along with the day.  It is always an adventure when I take the studio outside.  This is available for purchase. Warm Tree Light 24x30 oil on canvas This is a scene from the banks of Lake Texoma. I was excited to see the glow of the morning light beaming thru the trees.  I wanted to capture this on canvas. It was a challenge to balance the lights and darks in this one.  This is available for purchase. Please email me if you are interested. Blue Bug 36x36 oil on canvas I am a sucker for anything vintage.  This volkswagon was parked outside of my favorite art store.  I saw it often, but it was always parked in the shade. I was pleasantly surprised to see it out in the sun one day.  I painted a smaller version of this a few years ago and knew I wanted to go big.  This is available for purchase.
