I have been dreaming of the beach lately. Maybe because of all of the bad weather we have had. The beach has always seemed to bring me peace and calm. This painting was created using lots of gel medium and acrylic paint. I used a palette knife. It was almost like icing a cake. A small brush was used to create the birds.
