Artists Of Texas Contemporary Paintings and Art

Rainy Blues 11x14 oil on canvas Sold I created this in the studio but was inspired from a painting trip to Marble Falls, Texas.  It was raining, but I was determined to paint on location.  I just stayed close to my CRV and painted under the hatch.  It  reminded me of what a delight morning it was, painting in the rain. This painting SOLD, Thanks to  Dutch Art  Gallery, Dallas, Texas Thank you for viewing my art. To see more http://www.sherijonesart.com Sheri@sherijonesart.com http://www.sheriart.blogspot.com. French Welcome 10x8 oil on ray mar canvas panel Sold We found this beautiful front door while wandering the streets of Arles.  We were in the footsteps of Van Gogh  seeking scenes of some of his famous paintings. They have easels of his paintings in front of the actual scenes that inspired his work. This was another fun adventure with Art Treks. This painting sold thanks to Dutch Art Gallery. September Harvest-Hay Bales 9x12 oil on canvas panel I noticed fresh hay bales out in fields I drive by and knew the time was right to get outside and paint.  I mentioned to my friend Linda Miller I wanted to paint hay bales and she found us a great location. The weather was cool and we were on an isolated street with hardly any traffic.  We did have to get out of the middle of the road when a tractor drove by.  This is available for purchase.
