Tatanka, a Bison oil painting by Sandra Reeves Cutrer

Tatanka, the Native American Indian word for bison, or buffalo. Although many disagree that the buffalo and bison are the same, most people refer to both as "buffalo".Painted in oils on an 8" x 8"x 0.5" gallery wrapped stretched canvas-all sides painted. This wild life painting would make a great start for a small sized original collection! For more information on this piece, or any of my work, please contact me at : srcartavenue.blogspot.com or sandrasart777@aol.com . Thanks for looking! Sandra Reeves Cutrer

Chief Wannabee by Sandra Reeves Cutrer

"Chief Wannabee" is painted from one of my many photos. This child loved to dress up in his American Indian-style headdress and clothing. I enjoyed (immensely) his "attitude" when I asked him to pose as a strong Indian brave. He took to his part well, don't you think! Chief Wannabee is painted in oils on a 12"x12"x2" stretched linen canvas SOLD . Prints are available. Please visit my blog at: srcartavenue.blogspot.com to view this or other available paintings, or contact me at sandrasart777@aol.com. Thank you for reading my blog and viewing my work!

Clearing Skies by David Forks

Clearing Skies by David Forks Oil on panel, 16"x20" Another scene from Big Bend National Park. I tend to gravitate to the west and Big Bend National Park is one of my favorite places. My style is fairly impressionistic and I don't tend to paint much detail but I love the suggestion of it. I tried to add a lot of variation within my shadows in this piece. davidforks.com dforks.blogspot.com
