Mom and I had Christmas cookies for dinner last night, and this morning we had Christmas breakfast with friends. Carlos is in the kitchen doing what he loves best, cooking - and I have requests for two more plates of holiday cookies before the week is done. I hope you are doing something you love today, with loved ones nearby, and you have much abundance coming your way for the New Year. Holy cow it will be 2015 before we know it!  Rainy Day Poppies 2 by Nancy Medina 14X14 Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Purchase Information Videos France, Italy and the US - Flower Painting Workshops My Web Site Follow Me on Facebook Sign Up for My Art Newsletter The second part of my 2-part poppy painting is finished, and now the muses are telling me to paint this bigger - MUCH bigger! I have my deep gallery wrap canvas at hand, and the paints all laid out in big piles in preparation - after all, we must paint like we're rich ladies. No wimpy teeny piles of paint for me, although I must say I don't use a caulk gun to squeeze out my piles like a famous artist does I admire so very much.... Can you guess his name? Two paintings together make a 14X28 poppy vista!

We traveled over the river and through the woods for  Mother's Day, it was a fun day for mom, with the whole family in attendance. She was able to sit up in her hospital bed and read her cards, and had a big smile when Carlos brought her cheesecake from La Madeleine!  Pink Perfusion on the easel
