Heritage Village Sheep by Kay Wyne - Sold

Heritage Village Sheep 9" x 12" Oil on Linen Sold! This small painting of a sheep at Heritage Village in Dallas sold yesterday, and has a new home in Frisco, Texas.  It is always great to meet new collectors, and see their reactions and responses to my art.  Thanks to Patty and Dennis for visiting me at the studio, and  for giving this guy a new home.  I am off to a workshop for three days, and looking forward to meeting new artists and learning some new techniques for my painting.  Thanks for looking at this blog...contact  Kay  for more information on my art.  Kay

City Chicken Coop by Kay Wyne

City Chicken Coop 10" x 12" Oil on RayMar Cotton Panel Plein Air Painting on location at Heritage Village in Dallas, Texas.  I was with a group of fellow artists painting in Heritage Village (or Old City Park if you have lived in Dallas a while). The chickens were very lively and did not stand still for me.  I was perched up on a balcony of a building next to the coop when painting.  I took a short break and took a pic of the progress. We were painting early in the morning because the heat and humidity was high.   Contact  Kay  for more information on this painting. This is day #3 for the  30 Paintings in 30 Days Painting Challenge . Be sure to check out all of the art posted on Leslie  Saeta's blog.  Thanks for viewing....KMW

Waiting by Kay Wyne

Waiting 8" x 10" Oil on Linen This sweet little lamb was standing at Heritage Village in downtown Dallas. There were four or five lambs standing in the fenced-in lot staring at the people and cars...as if they were waiting on something or someone. They had a statuesque quality about them.  I did not use a painting medium, so the oils are thick on the linen, giving it some texture.  It will take a while for this one to dry.  If you are interested in purchasing this painting, contact Kay at kay@kwyne.com.  Thanks for viewing....Happy Fourth of July!  KMW
