"Fishing in the Hill Country" 18x30 inch Oil on Canvas without frame $325.00 plus tax and shipping I went on my first plein air trip with a group of fun artist in the Hill Country by Wimberly, Texas. I wish I could say that I did this on location, but I did not. It is from a photograph from my trip. Painting outdoors is overwhelming, and certainly for my first time. It was very warm that day, as I painted a smaller version, the sweat was rolling off my face. Flies were biting. Needless to say, we didn't stay over 30 minutes before we moved on. It may be hard to see the fisherman on the left side on the painting, hopefully he caught some fish that day.
