Artists Of Texas Contemporary Paintings and Art

Wildflower Summer 8" x 8" Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas Wildflower Landscape Series Contemporary Palette Knife Painting This painting is so wet with juicy oils...I started with my flat brush, but could not wait to get the palette knives out to move the paint around.  I am happy with the colors, the composition and look of this little painting.  I borrowed some beautiful colors that she had mixed on her palette, and they were going to dry up if I didn't dive into them. "Summer Blessings" by Kyle Wood 4.5" x 6" Oil on Canvas Paper Just finished this small painting a few days ago. I have titled this one "Summer Blessings" because sometimes God will bless Texas with rain. Fortunately, parts of Texas have been blessed with some rain this summer. This piece is showing the aftermath and fresh summer wildflowers have just popped out as result. The church in the painting is located in Bartlett, Texas.
