The most amazing flowers grow on Coronado Island, California, near San Diego. The real competitors at the Annual Flower Show on the island last week were the roses. Somes were the size of dinner plates! The only challenge about traveling to Coronado Island for my solo art show was explaining to the assistants why they had to stay home with Aunt Bitsy. The four-footed helpers never holds a grudge, fortunately, once you have given them a cookie or three.
