I set my paints up in the shade of my garden and painted these hollyhocks. This is an old fashion flower and one of my favorites. The flowers are all looking great right now and just begging to be painted. Better do it now, before the Texas heat makes its annual visit.

I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting. 24"x40" and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.

I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting. But this quilt started as a painting which I had printed on fabric and then turned it into a quilt. So maybe I can slip it into the blog! If you are interested in seeing more, let me know!
