A few days ago my wife made salad with dinner and when I walked by where she was cutting up the cucumber this idea popped into my head. Today I thought I would try to paint it. Paintings like this are fun since I can really be expressive with my brushstrokes. I always enjoy it when I can load up my brush with some color and lay it down on the canvas without touching it again. There's something about that that makes me happy and with an arrangement like this I'm afforded that opportunity often.
