I used a small 8x10 study to recreate this larger version. The original was inspired from a photo my friend Jill took in our neighborhood. It had such rich colors, I couldn't resist painting it. It was painted with a palette knife and lots of colorful paint.This painting is available for purchase.

I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it. I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas.
