"Fall Equinox", this is a small painting, 6" x 8", oil on canvas panel.

I had tried to capture the moon on my canvas the day before, but it became very overcast by sunset. Tonight was gorgeous and worth the wait. The combination of clouds turning orange and the moon just popping through the horizon darkness made it even more enchanting. Even the mosquitoes paused in their work to equally enjoy the view...

I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting. 24"x40" and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.

I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting. But this quilt started as a painting which I had printed on fabric and then turned it into a quilt. So maybe I can slip it into the blog! If you are interested in seeing more, let me know!
