Dusty Work - Debbie Grayson Lincoln

16 X 20 Oil
Contact Artist for availability
I painted this as a small 8 X 10 first and made a few changes and enlarged it to 16 X 20.
This painting will be in the Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas. Show opens November 2 and goes through December 31. Over 40 artists from Texas will be displaying their work, and the reception is Saturday, November 6 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. I have seen much of the work to be displayed and I am overwhelmed at the quality. And the pricing is very competitive for original, creative work. (And I am not just talking about MY work!)
Starting November 1, you will be able to view many of the paintings available on-line and I will post the link here. Stay tuned!

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

#mill,#water,#building,#11x14,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com This painting was part of a study.  We had the photo and I painted it then watched the demo. I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas.  Thanks for viewing my art ~~Barbara Available  GALLERY INFO Barbara Haviland Fine Art 1579 County Road 1010 Woodville, Texas 75979 409-332-0141 Website

Central Fire Station Lake Charles, La Barbara Haviland

CENTRAL FIRE STATION LAKE CHARLES, LA #CentralFireStation,#HIstoric,#Building,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com Central Fire Station  no longer exists in  Lake Charles, La.  I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting.   24"x40"  and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.
I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.   But this quilt started as a painting which I had printed on fabric and then turned it into a quilt.  So maybe I can slip it into the blog!  If you are interested in seeing more, let me know!
