The Rose Pitcher is a celebratory new work drying to the lovely sounds of studio assistants sleeping nearby. I am not sure how they can sleep, with all the whooping and hollering - there is much confetti in the studio today! I just learned that three of my paintings have been accepted into Expressions 2010 juried art show for the National League of American Pen Women. I'm excited and honored to have work showing with such a talented group of artists, and am rushing to get these frames ready in time for delivery on Thursday.
