Marina Beach - WIP

You may remember seeing the the 8x10 study that I did last week for this piece. So here's the first day's progress on the larger version.  Color matching came from just studying the original image on my laptop real carefully. It's closer than in the study but it's still not a direct match. But who cares. I still like it the way it is.
Spent somewhere between five and six hours on it today. I'm tired and "my dogs are barkin". Tomorrow's another day.
