This was painted from a photo I took in Fremantle, Australia. This character was walking through the center of that small port and was surprised that I took his photo. He seemed a bit "down and out" but wasn't at all retiring. He seemed uncomfortable in an urban setting --- more used to the outback. I'd love to go back to that area of the world and take more photos.
