For those of us who are fortunate enough to live in Texas, there's only one thing predictable about the weather... it's unpredictable! It's not unusual to go from the 80's one day to freezing the next. Living in Texas means enjoying a beautiful sunny day one minute and running for cover from a quickly formed thunderstorm the next. I was inspired to paint "Storm's Coming" on such a day. I loved the contrast of the sun shining, clouds shadowing the fields, and a storm brewing in the background.
