Rosehips

"Rosehips" is a 9x12 oil I painted recently and sold. I discovered how beautiful the rosehips are on my antique rose bushes. The idea of leaning the rosehips up against the blue willow vase in this composition was a new challenge for me. Challenges are what make painting so interesting.

  CENTRAL FIRE STATION LAKE CHARLES, LA #CentralFireStation,#HIstoric,#Building,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com Central Fire Station  no longer exists in  Lake Charles, La.  I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting.   24"x40"  and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.
