I have an online gallery at Daily Paintworks and someone is always offering a challenge to paint. This challenge was presented by Carol Marine before Valentine's Day and you could paint from her photo or provide something of your own. I decided to paint from her photo and the only downside I didn't get to eat the goodies after I finished painting it this afternoon and gosh, darn, those little pleated papers were hard to paint. Many of the posted challenges were so much better than mine but that's the fun to see the other painters interpretation and I probably would have never chosen anything with a little frilly paper to start with.
