This is a painting which was done from a photo taken at the Cowboy Symposium in Lubbock, Texas. The man had agreed to let me take his photo but I didn't get a good image until he started to take down his tent. He looked up at me briefly and I snapped this image.

I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it. I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas. I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting. 24"x40" and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.
