"Wiggles" is a commissioned pet painting,with the buyer surprising her husband . Miss Wiggles is a rescue pooch, and much adored by her family. I painted her from emailed photos ( they live out of state), so I am extremely happy that her owners told me that I caught her true coloring and personality in my work. The painting was done on an 11 x 14" professional art board in top quality oil paints. I love taking commissions and letting the client see the process of my work. I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it. I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas. I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting. 24"x40" and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.

I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.
