"Nebit". The name is of Egyptian origin, meaning leopard . This portrait is painted in oils with lots of detail, making it exciting each time I added a layer or another stroke of paint. I am happy with my finished product, and pleased that you would read and blog and look at my work! The leopard is almost a shadow in the African jungle. He hunts and lives alone, usually bringing his kill high up a nearby tree to keep scavengers away. Sometimes his kill will weigh three times more than he does!
