Oranges and Lilies is the newest floral still life in Flower Mound Studio this evening, the end of a Monday, a holiday for many, and an especially momentous day for Studio Director AnnieBee, who acquired a new green alligator toy from PetSmart this afternoon. I'm working on the graphics for my next newsletter, so be sure to sign up if you have not already. Central Fire Station Lake Charles, La Barbara Haviland

  CENTRAL FIRE STATION LAKE CHARLES, LA #CentralFireStation,#HIstoric,#Building,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com Central Fire Station  no longer exists in  Lake Charles, La.  I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting.   24"x40"  and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.

 I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.   But this quilt started as a painting which I had printed on fabric and then turned it into a quilt.  So maybe I can slip it into the blog!  If you are interested in seeing more, let me know!
