I painted this on a warm afternoon at Pecan Plantation in Granbury.  This is a neighborhood where the Brazos River winds through.  It is a wonderful river with great beaches that bring a calm to my soul.  This is my last painting to post for 2013. The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
