This painting is drying at the studio...a contemporary floral landscape bursting with color and texture. I have been working on this canvas for days...with layers and layers of paint. The scene is a wide view of wildflowers wandering through the landscape. The sky is heavy with paint and texture. Because this painting is on thick stretcher bars/gallery wrap canvas, framing is optional. This is a great size canvas to hang above a sofa or fireplace. I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it. I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas. I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting. 24"x40" and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.

I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.
