I painted this during my recent trip with Art Treks in Southern France. I sketched this out while at the abbey and painted it the next day. The lavender were at their peak and looked beautiful in front of this historic abbey near Gordes in Provence, France. This is available for purchase. $200.00

I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it. I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas. I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting. 24"x40" and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.

I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.
