This original abstract impressionist painting on canvas is highly textured.  Layer upon layer of acrylic paint has been energetically applied to the canvas.  Areas have been scratched out to reveal under layers of contrasting color.  The painting is wired and ready to hang.  The 1.5" deep sides are painted black and framing is not necessary.

A signed Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Central Fire Station Lake Charles, La Barbara Haviland

  CENTRAL FIRE STATION LAKE CHARLES, LA #CentralFireStation,#HIstoric,#Building,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com Central Fire Station  no longer exists in  Lake Charles, La.  I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting.   24"x40"  and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.

 I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.   But this quilt started as a painting which I had printed on fabric and then turned it into a quilt.  So maybe I can slip it into the blog!  If you are interested in seeing more, let me know!
