Gertrude is a small chicken painted on a panel. I used a new Monarch Bright #10 on this painting...there is nothing like painting with a new brush! It was really cold and windy outside, so I don't feel like I got a great photo...will need to re-do that. Her comb is heavy and falling off the canvas. Contact Kay for info on Gertrude. I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting. 24"x40" and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.

I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.
