Scorcerer's Delight..Abstract.. watercolor and Liquid Acrylics...Texas Artist..Rae Andrews

I was enthused to finish this painting which began as a demonstration in my workshop yesterday. Thank you to all my wonderful students, your work yesterday made me very proud to see.

The workshop was TOTALLY ABSTRACT  and just following our intuition, what fun!

This image is in watercolor and liquid acrylics, a great combination for this type of work.
This painting is presented unframed, and matted ready for framing.

                                                    Image size is 12" x 11"

$250 inc. S/H within mainland USA.

Prints of this image also available through Fine Art America:

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

#mill,#water,#building,#11x14,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com This painting was part of a study.  We had the photo and I painted it then watched the demo. I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas.  Thanks for viewing my art ~~Barbara Available  GALLERY INFO Barbara Haviland Fine Art 1579 County Road 1010 Woodville, Texas 75979 409-332-0141 Website

Central Fire Station Lake Charles, La Barbara Haviland

CENTRAL FIRE STATION LAKE CHARLES, LA #CentralFireStation,#HIstoric,#Building,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com Central Fire Station  no longer exists in  Lake Charles, La.  I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting.   24"x40"  and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.
I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.   But this quilt started as a painting which I had printed on fabric and then turned it into a quilt.  So maybe I can slip it into the blog!  If you are interested in seeing more, let me know!
