RED HILLS SUNRISE
by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

Red  Hills Sunrise was shipped wet to Mirada Fine Art in Denver for a show the middle of August. The paintings arrived on Friday with the show on Saturday and Red Hills sold the afternoon it arrived.  Mirada Fine Art carries the largest collection of my work. Please visit with Steve Sonnen, the gallery owner.

Viewing a Laurie Pace Painting is a rich experience that drips with color and emotion.  Her passionate works are alive with movement boldly created with a palette knife. Constantly pushing the edge, she loves working in oils, dramatically carving out the paint, fluid with color and bursting with energy.

I would love to have you join my Circle of Color. This will give you access to free gift aways, offers for special limited edition giclees not offered anywhere else, notifications of new paintings and the latest updates from my studio.  This is only if you dare. Watch out...you might catch the Spirit of the Paint.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

#mill,#water,#building,#11x14,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com This painting was part of a study.  We had the photo and I painted it then watched the demo. I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas.  Thanks for viewing my art ~~Barbara Available  GALLERY INFO Barbara Haviland Fine Art 1579 County Road 1010 Woodville, Texas 75979 409-332-0141 Website

Central Fire Station Lake Charles, La Barbara Haviland

CENTRAL FIRE STATION LAKE CHARLES, LA #CentralFireStation,#HIstoric,#Building,#BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com Central Fire Station  no longer exists in  Lake Charles, La.  I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting.   24"x40"  and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.
I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.   But this quilt started as a painting which I had printed on fabric and then turned it into a quilt.  So maybe I can slip it into the blog!  If you are interested in seeing more, let me know!
