We drove thru the Blanco Basin on our last day in Pagosa Springs. I found colorful landscapes and tons of inspiration.   A cold front moving through with strong winds. The sun was playing tricks and moving in and out. You never know what kind of challenge you will experience when plein air painting.  It is always a joy, no matter what the challenge is.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
