New "Into the Woods" Palette Knife Fall Foliage oil painting by Niki Gulley

9" x 12"" textured oil painting

I painted "Into the Woods" on location when we visited New England last fall during the height of fall foliage. The kaleidoscope of autumn colors was ablaze, and I was attracted to the dappled light sneaking through small gaps in the forested canopy, illuminating the winding path. Painted with palette knife and thick oil paint, this landscape is filled with color, movement and energy!

I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting. 24"x40" and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.
