Last week was an open studio day in my studio. It was so fun to paint with artist friends, talk art and just plain have fun. These flowers were all blooming in the yard and picked for a simple still life to show the joy of summer.

I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it. I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas. I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting. 24"x40" and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.
