Sometimes I feel like my brain has all these ideas for painting and I can't get into the studio fast enough to get the paint on the canvas. That is exactly what happened when I painted this colorful abstract. I used scrapers, brushes and palette knifes to put the paint down, and painted very fast. I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it. I have used this method for years. I don't care for the spring of a stretched canvas. I had some old photos that I used to paint this painting. 24"x40" and it is signed and framed, but you must come pick it up. I was told that the station burned down and they built another.

I haven’t posted here in a long time, partly because my artistic endeavors have taken a turn toward quilting instead of painting.
