Traveling in the early hours of the morning has it's benefits.  Like this beautiful sunrise! The serene landscape drew me in and seemed to point to the incredible light.  I search for landscapes and chase the light in my journey to work.  This painting is filled with texture and vibrant color.

The Old Mill Study, Barbara Haviland

I always do that.  I like to change my painting up a bit. It is painted on a hardboard panel that has canvas adhered to it.  I have used this method for years.
